Whether you are completely foreign to the Christian faith or a life long Christian, we would love to connect you with our faith community.
VCBC strives to meet the core needs of our community and our neighbours through engagement in different areas of interactions from toddlers to seniors, from new immigrants to life long Vancouverites, and from biblical enrichment to sports, arts and crafts.
Join us and connect with us through any of the ministries or programs listed below. If you feel that there's a need that the church is not meeting that may benefit you or the community around us, please also feel free to talk to one of our leaders and we would love to get in touch with you!
No matter how far and deep in faith, we know that Christians require one another in their faith journeys. We hope to provide you with peers that may offer mutual support and accountability in our pursuit for Christ.
We believe that children grow and connect best when they have a chance to experience life as a community. From weekly Sunday Children Worship (JCKidz) to annual Vacation Bible School Summer Camps, we hope to grow together with your children!
We also understand that being parents is no easy task. Come receive peer support through our parenting ministries as well!
Adolescences and young adulthood are crucial times in which we form our understanding of the world and of our own identity. We hope that you can find a place refuge and nurture through our youth groups or young adult ministries. In both ministries, we strive to provide a "balanced Christian diet" that prepares our members to engage faith holistically and sustainably.
You might have grown in maturity and stature, but being adult comes with its whole host of challenges in life and in faith. We hope to have a supportive environment for you to share your challenges and be encouraged by one another. Whether you are currently single, married, empty nested, or retired, we have communities for you to explore and grow together.
A good way to get involved with us would be through the various activities happening in our community. Whether it may be attending single seminars, joining a year-round program, or serving within the church and for our neighbors, we have different ways to get you engaged.
